The Easley Chronicles

It is so hard to get this kid to sit still for a split second. He was really hamming it up for the camera today and I was getting frustrated but these came out cute. I feel like they really capture his enthusiastic little personality.

Only 5 days old and he's playing trains with his big brother Adrian.

meeting baby

Despite the dissapointment of not being even awake for Lincoln's arrival there is still no greater joy than meeting your new baby and welcoming him into the world. Chad held everyone, including himself, at bay until I was awake so that I could still be the first to hold him.

Lincoln Scott Easley

Our third baby boy Lincoln came into the world Sunday February 21st at 6:28pm. He was 9lbs and came via c-section. We planned to have him at home but he, ok maybe God ;), had other plans. While I was in labor he turned sideways and then toeling breech. God was so present and faithful in keeping him and I both healthy and safe as we were transported to the hospital. I was fully dialated at home but somehow he stayed put long enough to be brought into this world safely and without harm. It's been a long week of recovery with more to come but I am so thankful to have a healthy baby and God's grace and protection over my family has been enormously evident. Welcome to the world baby Lincoln!
